Partirà il 1° ottobre prossimo il servizio di mensa per l'anno scolastico 2008/09 a Matera. Per accedervi sarà necessario effettuare il pagamento della tariffa di contribuzione, corrispondente alla situazione economica del nucleo familiare del richiedente. Destinatari del servizio sono gli alunni delle scuole dell'infanzia, per i quali verrà fatta richiesta da parte di almeno uno dei genitori o di chi esercita la patria potestà. Lo scorso anno sono pervenute circa 1500 domande, per una media di circa 1100 consumi effettivi di pasti all'interno dei sedici plessi delle scuole dell'infanzia interessati. La richiesta potrà essere inoltrata attraverso la compilazione di un apposito modulo, in distribuzione nell'Ufficio Scuole del Comune (2° piano stanza n. 43), al quale dovrà essere allegata l'attestazione ISEE (Indicatore della Situazione Economica Equivalente), con i dati reddituali riferiti all'anno 2007.

Per gli alunni portatori di handicap la fascia di contribuzione viene calcolata dopo aver operato l'abbattimento del 50 per cento dell'importo ISEE dichiarato. I buoni pasto saranno distribuiti dall'Ufficio Scuole, previa consegna di bonifico o ricevuta bancaria comprovante l'avvenuto versamento corrispondente all'importo della tariffa determinata dalla situazione economica del nucleo familiare dell'utente. Il versamento, da effettuarsi preferibilmente presso gli sportelli della Banca Popolare del Materano - Tesoriere del Comune sul c/c IBAN IT 41 E 05398 16100 8012114 "Servizio Mensa Scolastica", deve essere pari all'importo sufficiente per l'acquisto di un blocchetto da 20 buoni, o multiplo di esso. Per opportunità a favore degli utenti, a decorrere dal decimo giorno antecedente l'effettivo avvio del servizio e per non oltre 30 giorni, sarà consentito acquistare i blocchetti da 20 buoni pasto direttamente nell'Ufficio Scuole del Comune. Nel solo mese di maggio 2009, i buoni pasto potranno essere acquistati direttamente presso lo stesso ufficio per un numero inferiore a venti. I buoni pasto rimasti inutilizzati potranno essere rimborsati presso l'Ufficio Economato del Comune.

Per gli utenti affetti da comprovate condizioni patologiche e intolleranze alimentari (celiachia, favismo, lattosio ecc..), e per quanti dichiarino ragioni di natura etnica o religiosa, sarà possibile somministrare diete speciali, secondo modalità da richiedersi all'Ufficio Scuole. Il servizio si concluderà il 30 maggio 2009.
